I am excited to give an update on the progress of Global Pioneers as we look ahead to 2008. We remain dedicated to our vision and find our unique approach of discipleship in the midst of missions is drawing much attention. “Unique” is the most common word I have heard recently to describe Global Pioneers and I am thrilled as we truly want to do something different that is changing hearts and lives with a passion for global missions. |

Our partnership in developing the camp at Maforga Missions Centre has become a huge blessing as we work to finalize all the plans. They have an incredible ministry that is truly changing lives in Mozambique and together we will be able to accomplish so much. We have already begun taking applications for 2008. As of today, we have twenty students and leaders already signed up as well as many more who are finalizing their plans. So if you are interested or know someone who would like to attend, please let me know as soon as possible. We also want to update you on the adult trip that is planned for January 2008. This trip has been modified and is taking a little different shape. In an effort to better accomplish the immediate needs of the ministry, we will be going over in January primarily to finalize all the plans for the summer. Those who have expressed an interest in going are still invited to join us, but we will be postponing the “Vision Trip” until the fall of 2008. The opportunity to see all that is developing in Mozambique and become involved in missions remains a huge part of the January trip, but we will focus primarily on the summer program. So please contact me soon if you are interested in this trip. Thank you just does not seem enough to express my appreciation to FHCC and the leadership for all the support they have given us, but I will continue to say it many times more. You provided the support that was so vital in getting this vision off the ground and Global Pioneers will always be indebted to you for your willingness to follow through in such a huge way. I look forward to the continuation of this partnership with FHCC and the blessing we have of working together as the Lord uses us to change lives both here and abroad. |
