We are excited about working directly with Reverend Reggie Tucker and the Orange Mound Community Center in this church plant. What Rev. Tucker started as a program to feed and keep kids off the streets has morphed into a ministry that is transforming lives! |

The goals of this church plant are the same as Forest Hill in nature. They desire to see people that are far from God come to know Him on a personal level through receiving Jesus Christ as their Savior. One of our goals is life transformation; this church plant in the community of Orange Mound has the same focus. Forest Hill is committed to praying, helping and strategizing in partnership with this church plant. |

First Annual Clothing Drive
Orange Mound Outreach Ministries is gearing up for their first annual clothing drive.
We will be collecting gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and shoes, as well as new socks & underwear for the children. Items will be distributed September 22 at the Orange Mound Community Center.
Please bring your donations to FHCC at the designated drop off times, and place them in the little nook to the right of the stairs – in the lobby.

Yaphah Friends developed at FHCC
BACK 2 SCHOOL! (an Orange Mound Outreach Ministry partnership)
Summer is winding down, vacations have been taken, and kids are dreading the first day of school. Parents dread back to school for a different reason... back-to-school expenses! FHCC has the opportunity to ease the financial burden for families in Orange Mound by supplying backpacks and school supplies. On July 22 and July 29 you will find paper grocery sacks with a child’s name, grade, school and birth date with either “backpack” or school supply list provided. Simply fill the bag with a backpack, supplies, or both and return your bag to FHCC by August 1st. This drive is unique for two reasons: We are throwing a fun-filled Back-to-School Bash at the Orange Mound Community Center on August 4th where we will get to see each child receive his or her supply-filled backpack. When you purchase a backpack or supplies, you are also committing to pray for that child throughout the school year. This would make a great family or small group project. Join us!

official Sunday Service. The FHCC team will attend 9:00am service at Forest Hill, receive prayer, then travel to the Orange Mound Community Center for this exciting inaugural Sunday service.

Orange Mound Outreach Ministries Kick - Off Carnival
Teaching Pastor, Donnie Smith, interviewed Rev. Tucker during Sunday Services on March 11th, at which time the FHCC family was treated to first-hand delivery of the Orange Mound Church vision. A tentative timetable has been released to those originally interested as follows:
"Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol Him, all you peoples. For great is His love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord." Psalms 117
